New every morning

I subscribe to OBX sunrise (Outer Banks, NC), where I see my favorite place every morning.  God paints a beautiful canvas picture with each new day....the colors are simply breath-taking.  This particular one is an absolute beauty.  Ahhhh.

I am reminded of this today:  Lamentations 3:  22-23, "Because of the Lord's great love, we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.  They are new EVERY morning; great is your faithfulness."  He has something new for us to see and learn with each sunrise.  Are we fully present and anticipating what is new?

And, I am so thankful for this truth...today.
