Do we pull away in shame?

For the last several weeks, I've been singing this song every morning on my way to work.  It is really reaching to the depths of my being.  For whatever reason, I know right now I'm not centered the way I should be.  I've been so distracted from what should be most important.  I haven't been as purposeful in my discipline of solitude.  Sometimes, I'm so ashamed and lack the confidence that I am fully loved...and thus I pull away.  When really, Jesus wants me to come to him...to dwell in his presence and live there.  He simply wants me to rest my head on his chest, to hear his heartbeat...and to just listen for his voice.

Please listen; I hope you need this as much as I do.  My guess is that you are with me.

Lord We Come-Travis Cottrell  (When the Stars burn down)

Vs. 1-Lord, we come into your gates with thanksgiving and with praise...into your presence, Lord, we come.  In our joy and in our pain, Lord, we come to you again.  Into your presence, Lord, we come.

Chorus:
Lord, we come to you.
Lord, we come to you.
Lord, we come to you.
Into your presence, Lord, we come.

Vs. 2-Lord, we come to you by faith, all believing in your grace.  Looking to Jesus as our love.  We are lost without your truth, now we bring our hearts to you.  Into your presence, Lord we come.

Lord, we come (Oh, Holy spirit come and dwell in us)
Lord, we come (Oh, Holy Spirit breathe your breath in us)
Lord, we come (Oh, Holy Spirit have your way)
Into your presence, Lord, we come.

Bridge:  Reign down your power from the Heavens.  Pour out your Spirit in this place.  Reveal the glory of your presence, as we ascribe to you all praise.  (Lord, we come...)
Do we pull away in shame?
